  1. ASN non accredited and RN-BSN accredited okay?

As far as I know they just look at the whole BSN, not specific credits. The only specific courses they consider are the science ones and nursing accreditation does not matter when u're taking A&P for example.
  2. getting ready for CRNA school

You'll need more than "just a few months under your belt". You'll be competing with people that have years of experience. Your grades are not too bad, but again people have done better. My point is try to work on your "overall" picture meaning experi...
  3. CRNA book suggestions?

I would not bother. First, it won't make your life easier during school. Second, if you are planning to go, then enjoy your life as is now because when you get in you won't, and it won't matter weather you read a book or not.
  4. CRNA vs Med school, tough decision, heres my story

I think the answer is really within you. Try to see what is more important in your life: Long years of sacrifice (probably 15) and work to become an MD, be recognized as such, and do what you love with good money. Or, become a CRNA (average 10 years)...
  5. Would this be a good route to becoming a CRNA? Also a few questions.

    - A aid job will give you a chance to know people in the ICU and eventually, if they like you, you'll most likely get a job (not b/c of experience, but social skills). - I went the ASN-BSN route, directly to the ICU after the ASN, worked for 2 years ...
  6. ASN non accredited and RN-BSN accredited okay?

I think its fine, because in most cases your BSN overrides the ASN. Think about it, when you get an RN-BSN degree you are a BSN nurse and if the school wants a BSN accredited program and your BSN is accredited, then you are a BSN RN. There are plenty...
  7. Can you get into CRNA school if....

I think some schools are picky (not about BSN's, but the overall picture) whereas others are not. Read the admission criteria for the schools in your area. That alone will tell you a lot about what they are looking for. I personally think the path yo...
  8. **help!!!! Please Help!!! I Just Took My Nclex!!**

  9. 75 questions...

Congratulations new RN! I took my test today, and I got 75 questions. From those I had infection control, priority, and some meds I haven't even heard of. When I was getting the med questions, I was like ah? and what the hell is that? I guessed them ...
  10. How many practice ?s did u do before NCLEX?

I didn't count but I know I really started studying like a week before the test doing lost of kaplan questions maybe about 800 for the 7 question trainers. I was so sick of doing questions that a day before the test I said: THAT'S IT! I cannot take m...
  11. **help!!!! Please Help!!! I Just Took My Nclex!!**

I took my test today as well and I can't believe I have to wait to hear that I passed or failed. I was done at 75. I had a bunch of med questions that I had no idea what to choose. I mean, there is no way I could memorize that many meds. Before the t...
