  1. Good evening everyone! I was recently accepted into Spring Arbor University's Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program. Is anyone here starting in the April '18 cohort? Does anybody currently experiencing the program have any tips or recommendations, especially for the first class- Moral and Ethical Decision Making? Many thanks in advance!
  2. RuralNurseRN- How are things going with your Walden NP program? I also work M-F 8-5 and I have been toying with the idea of pursing Walden's adult/gero program. Is the program do-able on top of a 40+ hour work week? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
  3. Re: CNA courses- Many local American Red Cross organizations and Community/Adult education centers offer CNA programs. The one I am getting ready to enroll in costs $350 and it lasts about 3 weeks.
  4. hello! after answering telephones for 7 years, i have decided to take the leap into nursing! right now i am working on my pre-reqs and i'll be able to submit an application for nursing school sometime next spring! so far i have completed medical terminology & a required cpr course. in the fall i have basic chemistry & a health careers math (i'm kinda nervous about all the math!!). in the spring i have anatomy & phys and applied micro biology. i have to plan on a 2-3 year wait to get a spot in the nursing program! i'm excited about my new adventure! so in about 4-5 years, i can finally hang up the phone and slip into some scrubs! :yelclap:
