  1. No Way! Don't quit at this stage of the game, and don't let others "poisonous" opinions get you down, that person has no right butting in to your business. Obviously you are capable of doing this because your grades are good. Don't give up!
  2. Hi, have you thought about taking the class online? I am in your same situation. It takes me a while to absorb the info in math and science and the online math class was very successful for me. Good Luck!
  3. Hi, does anyone know of a Microbiology class offered online in the Southern California area? Thank You!
  4. Does anyone know who or where Micro. is offered online in So. California? Thank You!
  5. i agree that you are young enough and should go for your bsn is you can as long as you are 100% sure nursing is what you want to do. if so, then go for it! you would be surprised, there might be grants or scholarships available. good luck!
  6. i completely understand your frustration, because i am in the same boat. don't give up! a friend of mine suggested not to read the chapters in full, just jot down notes or make flash cards on the main ideas, or the main subjects your teacher is covering. try not to overthink every situation. there is alot of info to cover and it is intense, but you can narrow it down by trying the above. good luck to you. keep on going, it will be over before you know it. :pumpiron::pumpiron:
  7. poor thing! drink some hot tea with honey and try not to use your voice too much! good luck with everything.
  8. I agree! I am doing my pre-nursing and have been married 18 years with two teenagers and do not plan to have clinical mess my marriage up! It is all about balance no matter what we do in life.
  9. Congratulations on graduating and thank you for your information. I will PM you. Lisa
  10. :w00t:wow! great job! you must feel so good about your accomplishment. good luck to you.
  11. i have heard too that moorpark's rn program is good. channel islands now offers a bsn, not sure if i want to go that route. maybe if i was younger.
  12. :bugeyes:i too am taking micro. i start tuesday. i purchased my books today and the text actually looks very interesting. good luck to all of you!
  13. Thank you all for your input. Very helpful things to remember once I start clinical.
  14. :thankya: Thank you for your input!
  15. I wondered if the BSN programs offer a higher level of training vs. the ADN programs? I am in the 41 and working on my last pre-req so I can apply this Fall to the program. There is a two year wait at Moorpark College from that point. Is is worth just going for my BSN? Thank you for any input!
