Thank you for your response, the info is much appreciated. I'm a bit concerned though, because through a friend of my husband's who works for an insurance company in syracuse we were told RNs make about 30/hr (she asked a nurse who works at the insurance company). However, I'm wondering how correct the information is, I mean if in your city it's around 20/hr. I currently make 30/hr in Toronto, Ontario. I was hoping to make at least the same in Syracuse, or maybe a dollar or two less. I've been nursing for three years and the pay seems to go up fast here in toronto but the expenses are high, which is why I've decided to move to syracuse. I've been looking for someone who works in Upstate medical university since that's where I want to work but no luck so far. Anyways, any extra info from anyone that reads this would be very helpful. Hi everyone. Does anyone know what the hourly rate or salary is for a registered nurse with a BSCN in syracuse. I've been working in internal medicine/stroke patients for the past 3 years. What do new grads start with? I am actually a canadian nurse who wants to move to syracuse and I've looked everywhere to get an idea of what the pay is like and can't find much info.
