    I went to the review coorifice at the ONS congress last year, and between the review and the book they gave, I felt fairly well prepared.

    I started out with Med/Surg for a couple of years before becoming an oncology nurse. It was very helpful with basic experience before getting involved with the more complicated issues associated with Onc. nursing.

    Currently we don't have a documented policy on this, but we do try to lighten the load for a nurse giving first time Rituxan. Generally our patient load is 3:1-4:1.
