I noticed that you live in San Antonio so though about findout some information about this place. Well I will be immigrationg from Pakistan in couple of months and was wondering to collect as much as information I could get from everywhere. Would appreciate if you could breif me about the hospitals and other jobs, transport system and schools as I woudl be coming with my family and all my kids are school going. Regards. Isabel

You guys still deal with less insult here in your part of the world. Where I work the nursing is a taboo and majority of the people cannot of even think of their children going into nursing as it is bad as being a prostitute and nurse are considered in my part of the world as prostitute. So imagine what we have to deal with, men look at you the way they look at them, this may be a shock for the developed countries but we have to put up with this every day. I come from a family of nurses and have married in a family where nurses have always been respected, thank God for it. Thank God you were not practicing here.

Hi Every one, Your conversations seems interesting and complicated as well. I am in the process of moving from Pakistan to Texas in few months. I am registered with RNABC in Canada and can immigrate there as well on the other hand my application is in the INS and it should be processed in couple of months so now I am confused now for the move. Since I am from Pakistan and have a family, I would jump to any good offer but I hope that I make the right decision now So I was wondering should I get to Canada or stick to US. Could anyone of you let me know pros & cons? Please help!
