  1. Hi everyone I cant believe its been 2 years since I started this post! I am finishing my J-term CIL class and starting 2nd semester nursing in a week It does go by pretty fast, well at least so far it has. Any heads up for 2nd sem.?

  3. Hi its Jeannai over a year later!! I just got reunited with the site and I really wish I had of stayed around long enough to hear your feed back. I went down the wrong path and took Indrani For A&PII and didnt pass I had to take it over this summer and passed with Paul im so upset that I didnt know about her it was horrible. Im starting The nursing program In sept any advice on that???

  6. hi line, will you be in the extended day program? if so we will be starting together :) congrats on ur baby to come. kids are wonderful, i have a 3 yr old girl and a step daughter thats 8. how old is ur oldest child? its nice to be able to chat with students that will be attended the same school. we should all keep in touch, get to know each other maybe form a lil nursing support group:nurse:
  7. please tell all. starting st. kates in the fall. very courious as what to expect as far as cost of books 1st sem., instructors, class size, work load, and any thing else that would soften the blow or you think would be useful to me. general info/advice would be helpful as well. thanks so much for ur input and advice in advance
  8. toots, i dont think its about the highest gpa. i think its exprnc in the field and a great deal is from how strong ur letter of intent is. they say its first come first serve over all tho, but i dnt thnk thts all tru. my gpa isnt that high. are you already a nurse? if so what field, how long?
  9. lemay, someone1 else gave me those months also so there prob. right. i think ill try anp1, theo, and cil. it will be alot but thats how its going to be until we graduate right;). l&d and peds are my areas of interest. i worked @ childrens hosp. for 5 years so got used to the peds area. i ve been back in school since 2005. i am currently @ century college thru the summer. i would say yes go after ur cna it will help a bunch and give you a great idea of what you will be doing as a nurse. will you be working thru out school? what school are you attending now?
  10. What classes are you thinking of taking this fall? I wonder when are orientation will be? Im also scared about the money. What area of nursing do you think you want to work in? have you worked as an NA yet?
  11. hi every1. i applied to only 1 school also, st. catherines in mn. i thought it would be a long shot b/c its such a great school so its hard to get into. i got accepted i was over the top excited:w00t:. i start in the fall. good luck 2 every1!!
  12. Hi, I live near woodbury. I just got accepted to St. Kates nursing program:balloons: I love Mn because this is where I grew up. Its a great place to live and raise a family.

  15. Hi, Im am 27 and mother of 3. Ill be starting the nursing program fall 2009 I got my acceptance letter in Nov. SOOOOO Happy:cheers:!!! Ill be 30 when its over. Seems far away but im sure it will go fast once it starts. Good luck and congrats to all.
