  1. I'm not sure who I'm quoting from, but I read it somewhere today and thought it made sense. It went something like: Don't worry about wasting an opportunity, because someone else will find it and make use of it. Did you already subtract the cost of parking from your potential yearly income at the one place before comparing the two incomes?
  2. It's really up to you and what you feel you can handle. Don't go by what other people can do and rate yourself to their settings. If your body is too exhausted then no, if you feel alright and you know you can handle it safely then do it. Everybody has to make the call for themselves though. Some people just need a nap, and others need more than that. If you are so tired and sleepy you cant think, then call in.
  3. I am still getting my pre-reqs, but it is horrifying to me some of the people I meet or hear about that are planning on becoming nurses. The reason for this is because they are just so mean. Your preceptor could of always been a you know what. So no matter how good you were, she would have always be that way. In this case it sounds like the problem is her, not you.

I am hoping to get into the program in 2008 so I am not a nurse yet, but this topic is still very interesting to me. It helps to know what to expect, and how to handle possible future situations I will face myself.
  5. That is really great news. Congradulations!!! :yelclap:
