I've heard a few nurses say good things about Tampa General and it is a magnet facility. I think a Magnet facility is a good way to go. But it is not a guarantee. You have to go and get a feel for the area where you'll be working to see if it a good fit. yo can applt for a reciprocity license. It may take up to 2 months. You have to get fingerprinted in your state and they'll send a background check...this is what takes most of the time. You can also work for the VA with your alabama license. Good Luck!
