Hello, everyone, I am trying to get info on the ISU, and have a question, just cannot find the answer. Can I take classes part time, or I have to take them just how they are listed by semesters, I am talking about nursing classes, I have noticed about GE courses, but nothing about nursing.

I will have to tell my story too. started nursing school in January, 8 months pregnant, and a 1 year old at home. month later I had the baby, contractions started at school, went to the hospital after school, delivered the baby at midnight, and 8 in the morning the next day I was sitting in the classroom. did not have a lot of help from my family, they all leave far away, cannot tell how many nights I didn't sleep at all, the rest of them 2-3 hours for a few months. It was really hard, but I did it, with good grades, and I am sure you can too, especially with help from your family. You are luky that you have someone to help you. Good luck!

Thank you for your response. I am definitely applying to the Ivy Tech, the only problem is that their program is different that the one I am in right now, I am afraid they will not let me transfer. So I want to apply to as many nursing schools as I can to make sure that I dont have to stay here for the rest of the year I am going check out the schools you mentioned. Thanks.

I need some help finding LPN programs in Indiana. I am currently in a nursing program, but my husband just got a new job so I want to try to transfer. I was looking for nursing schools but all I found was the Ivy college. My husband will be working in Peru, any suggestions where I can find more information about LPN programs in that area, including Indianapolis? Any help would be appreciated.
