  1. I would go get your ACLS. Even if your hospital doesnt allow u to have it. I have been a nurse for almost two years and completed my ACLS after 6 months of working the unit. It was the best thing I ever did. I am 23 years old and running codes just about every day I work. It is greta experience and it will help you critically think. I also reocommend PALS certification, though not required it is very informitive. You learn how to due IO insertions and pediatric intubation.
  2. I am 23, have 2 years ICU experience and am finishing my BSN next semester but am applying for CRNA next month and tentatively starting in Fall 08. i will be tentatively 26 when i am finshed.

  4. Is anyone presently going to UNF? If so how do you like it? Are the clinical sites great for teaching? How do you feel the program is preparing you?
  5. I am going to apply early next year to UNF. Is the CRNA program excepting twice a year, or only once? Also, what was the interview like at UNF and what credentials did you guys have going into teh interview? Congradulations to all that were excepted. Thank You

  7. I would like some input on where I stand as far as getitng accepted into CRNA school. I have done research, however input form other SRNAs or CRNAs is much appreciated. I am 23, finishing my BSN, have 1 1/2 yrs exp in IMC and ISC, PICC line placment, will be taking GRE this summer. GPA 3.42. I am applying to schools next year. I know my experience is minimal but, I am a very motivated and a fast learner. Just curious on what my chance are. Thank you
