  1. I started out doing 3-11 and found that 5 days a week were killing me so I started 7p-7a. Let me tell you-I work in a LTC facility and from 1a-4a the hardest thing I had to do was try to stay awake! From reading magazines to walking around and visiting the other nurses. Needless to say 3-11 is welcome back with open arms!:w00t:
  2. Hello! I am sure you can find someone who understands your situation and will tell you in your interview what is available. They might do like 2 12 hour shifts if all your looking for is 24 hours. Tell them you have been in school and you've missed time from your kids. If they don't do 8 hour shifts, then move on. Don't settle or you will be miserable! Good luck!
