There is definitely jobs to be found as an LPN, I have been an lpn for 9 years and never been out of work, and support my family with it now. I am taking prerequests now for RN, d/t fact that I do everyhting the RN's do at my job and make 5-7$ less an hour and i even do more than them, because they won't do everythingI do, they leave me the dirty work since I am a lpn. I have done this for 9 years and want better since I have support a family. But if you are willing to work, you can fin a job as a LPN all the time- at least in my area. Mostly LTC tho.

I tried to get my RN thru them- could not get motivated. Cancelled ( just about have them paid off) and am going to local college. The tests are very hard and about $300 for every test you take, i had a hard time coming up with that money every time I needed to test. Some people i Know have passed and have gotten their degrre thru Rue with good success.

I am taking micro and English comp 1, along with working fulltime. i have been an LPN for 9 years and attempting to go back to school for RN. I am having a very hard time with micro- anyone know any good websites to study on or any other good tips to help me with this class? I Agreee The Pace In Lts Is Horrific. I Work It And It's Getting The Best Of Me. I Have Beem An Lpn For 9 Years And Ltc X1 Year Now. 30 Plus Pts On The Skilled Nursing Hall. And Any Callins In The Building I Have To Fine Replacements. Someone Falls- A 4 Pager To Do. Sometimes 2-3 Admits On 1 Day In Addition To My Meds, Treatments, Etc. I Am Stressed, Cry Every Day I Have To Go. I Need Suggestions- Thanks.
