  1. I totally believe in the power of prayer.
  2. I was wondering if anyone had a good resource, like reference cards, etc. for ER stuff. I am learning I have so much to learn.
  3. Hi there! I've worked in Pediatrics for 20 years with Kids with Cancer and normal kids. The only time we used ice was with a child who had an extreme temp but we used a fan over the ice. If the child is chilled at all we give them blankets to prevent shivering and spiking. Ice seems drastic unless you are not wanting to use antipyretics. We had a naturopathic family who did that.
  4. This is not an earth shattering post but I am in need of a new stethescope and want to get one that is crystal clear and good for both peds and adults. I have recently worked neonatal and pediatrics so have used a pediatric littman which I totally LOVE but it is not very functional on anyone over 10 years of age. What is your favourite?
