  1. NLE and NCLEX are two different exams... yeah right. so passing NCLEX has more weight than passing the NLE... an NCLEX passer who is a June 06 batch is questionable of his competency... btw, NCLEX is what for? it is one way of measuring our competence, testing if we can meet the US standards.... so how come that our phil license is that important when you are a june 06 passer? just my opinion.. please give some insights on this.. thanks.. peace!!!:monkeydance:
  2. so it was a big mistake that i took the philippine licensure exam? really, i can't understand the logic. in the first place our local license is not needed anymore so in this case i think i need to waive my philippine license if that's the case...
  3. hi suzanne, i am just wondering why CGFNS issued visa screen certificate to nurses who passed the NCLEX exam but without a philippine license because they failed or not took the exam at all. so, if this is the case, our philippine license has no value at all. please give some thoughts about this... thank you..
  4. sir Xigris, this is not anymore about retaking the exam, this is all about the integrity and sovereignity of our country.. It is very clear that the Supreme Court already decided that a retake will be unnecessary since the leakage issue was not widespread instead ordering the 1,687 examinees to do the retake last december.. it can be interpreted that CGFNS simply did not respect the decision of the Supreme Court and to think our Phil license is not comparable to their license so why the hell giving much attention to this issue. How about if i'll pass the NCLEX, don't tell me CGFNS will not give me a visa screen certificate and if so, it is tantamount they are questioning the integrity of the NCLEX exam? correct me if am wrong... thanks..
  5. hi! I am a registered nurse from the Philippines. I understand that I need visa screen certificate to be given by the CGFNS in order for me to work in the US with an immigrant visa.. Now the problem is CGFNS will not give Visa SCreen certificate for the June 2006 nursing board passers because of the leakage issue. My question is how about if I'll pass the NCLEX and eventually get my nursing license in the state where i am applying, will CGFNS still denies me a visa screen? If so, it is tantamount that they are questioning the integrity of their NCLEX exam? Please give some insights on this matter. Thanks and GOD BLESS!!
