  1. Thank you all so very much for your responses. I was told by the TCN rep that Excelsior will not accept my credits, so either way, yes I AM STUCK! I will be trying to get an attorney to handle this. Of the 7 modules that I received from them 5 of them are unopened. I will definitely adhere to your advice and return those 5 to see what happens, if they credit me or not. Anyway, thanks again. Question: Since they did not run my credit for this contract, should I breach it would they still be able to place the balance on my credit report?
  2. If I were you, I would go directly through Excelsior College because you would not have to worry about being misinformed and lied to by college network.
  3. Hey everyone; I am very disturbed about my experience with the College Network and want some suggestions/advice from anyone who can help me. I was told that my credits from my previous school would be accepted through College Network and all I would have to take would be the nursing concepts exam. This turned out to be a complete lie, because they did not take several of my courses which were taken within the last 2 years at an accreditted college and now they are wanting me to retake those classes through them and of course bill me for additional modules. I told them that I was tricked into signing the contract and I wanted out because I do not intend to take those courses again and pay doubly for them. What is your suggestion or advice in getting out of this contract. Since the last conversation I had with them, I have re-enrolled into the same college and have been accepted into their nursing program, so I really need to get out of this contract. Please forward any suggestions that you may have on how to go about this.
  4. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am new to this site. Very proud of another person achieving success. I do have a question though, what is Suzanne's plan? Please enlighten me, so that I can be as successful as you have been. Thanks, Nicola
  5. Hey there, thank you so much for your honest and straight forward advice. I appreciate all of the refs and websites and other info that you gave me. Also, thanks for keeping it real as far as not procrastinating. I will be definitely looking into getting those NCLEX prep books, like STAT!!! Thanks again, if you have anymore info that you think would be helpful for me, don't hesitate, please send me a message. Nic.
  6. Hello, this is my first time on this site. I wanted to find out about the NC1 exam. I am going through College Network and I am preparing to take the exam at the end of this month. Any advice from you all is beneficial. Thanks Nicola
