VA Hiring Process
Mrs. Weddle, You must have gone in person to a VA near you to interview. I will be working at an Out Patient Clinic about 20 minutes from me but the larger VA that handles the interviews, physical and orientation is about a hour and a half from me so email has been the preferred method other than the pre employment physical and now the orientation. They have emailed me forms and I fill them out and fax them back. Hope you hear something soon!

VA Hiring Process
Hello Mrs. Weddle, I am a Grade 6 step 10 also. I hope you hear something soon, I found the VA staff to be very helpful and whenever I emailed them I had an answer in about 5-10 minutes or less. Keep us posted and let us know if you hear something.

VA Hiring Process
Thank you! I tend to not like being still any longer than I have to, it is not in my nature. I tried retirement and it was ok for a few months but then I missed nursing. I will give it all I can until the good Lord says it's time to stop. Thanks again!

VA Hiring Process
Hi everyone, I live in Michigan and am an LPN. I filled out an application around the first of October, within a week I had a phone interview with (3) people. Within another week they sent me Equip and Vetpro online materials to print off, fill out and fax back. They were very good about keeping in touch and answering all of my questions, A physical followed and I was the lucky one to get the drug screen but I passed all of it, went for fingerprinting and a photo ID when I had the physical. Last week they called me with a firm full time offer and on December 1st 2014 I will begin orientation so from start to orientation will be for me exactly 2 months. I will be working at an outpatient clinic near me as a Tele-Health clinical technician. The offer was fantastic based on my 22 years of experience and even better than that I am 67 and they still hired me so if you are older do not hesitate. Good luck to all!
