I was also thinking about Spokane Community College. I think I have also heard something like they are trying to phase out LPN's now and only have RN's? Well, hope that helps!
It depends where you live in WA. I think the more persistent you are in applying and not giving up, and by putting yourself on the waiting lists, the better your chances will probably be. Also, 3.5 gpa or higher would also probably be preferred. ALso, sometimes I think they consider other things as well, like if you know other languages... I hope the best for you!
Well,,,it was one of the toughest semesters for me! So, my advice is...well... remember safety for the mom, baby, and use your common sense and all the knowledge you have aquired. Try not to let the nurses and anybody else to intimidate you. Hope the best for you.
I have also thought about outpatient type of nursing rather than just the basic floor nursing that the majority of nurses do (at least that's what I think of). Congratuatlions by the way!
