Job type during Nursing school?
I agree with RunnerRN..if youre going to be working in nursing the rest of your life, why not have a part time job doing something else! Im a waitress on the side, so coming home to nursing homework is new and not so bad after a day of being around food!

A & P 1 Vent!!
quick question...im going to school for my BSN..possibly MSN..and want to be a NP. Im suppose to take my A&P classes next semester, but I already have 4 dual enrollment credits(for A&P 1) from my junior year in high school. Technically, i can just take A&P 2 and my credit for 1 is already fullfilled. My concern is that I forget lots of the information...will there be a review later in my my schooling orrrr do you suggest I should just retake A&P 1??? aahhh help me!

Becoming a NP
Once i found this site, I could not stop reading. You all provide lots and lots of information thats very helpful! Except i do still have lots of questions, and just havent found the exact answers im looking for... Im currently a nursing student headed for my BSN and I would like to become a NP. Do i have to first work as an RN before i go to school and become a NP? I was thinking of getting my BSN in down to 3 years so i wouldnt be in school for as long. Also i know there are different types of NP's, right? Are there NPs that work in labor and delivery??..and also, im excited to become an NP because of all the more i can do with a patient and all the more challenges and responsibilities, but are NP's work schedules a lot more restricted than RNs? or does that depend on the hospital?? Thankss!! im learning more and more everyday
