  1. I'm on my third consecutive assignment with them. It hasn't been great but it hasn't been all bad either. Housing is nice and close to my assignment and its gated which is a huge plus in a large city. Paychecks have allways been on time. Had one day I didn't get paid for (It was during the holidays) but I caught it and contacted my recruiter and it was reflected on my next paycheck. I allways check my timesheets with my pay and I advise you to do the same. Never trust someone else with your money!!! Insurance has been a bit of a pain in the butt. They are changing insurance companies to Great West Healthcare. All in all I would probably reccomend this agency but do look around and register with several companies and pick the one you feel most comfortable with. I am going to Florida when my current assignment ends in May and even though I will let Nightingale look for me a job there, they will not be the only ones looking for me. Hope this helps.
  2. My girlfriend and I have been traveling for the past year together. I work in the CVOR and she works ICU. She works 3 12's / week and I work 8's but our schedule has never been a problem. You will probably have to go to a larger city in order to make it work (we are in Phoenix now), but it can be done. Every travel company that I have dealt with has bent over backwards to help us get assignments in the same hospital let alone the same city. Remember that the companys will do what they have to do, it's all about the money for them. I carry housing and she gets the 1500.00/month housing stypend, she then gives me 600.00 of that and she pockets the other 900.00. We travel to our assignments in one SUV and pretty much carpool. Like today-- We both came to work at 0700. I get off at 3P, she gets off at 730P. When I get off I go to the gym or whatever and go pick her up at 730p with supper in hand. We have it down to a science. It can work if you work at it. Just go and have fun. Oh, and have either you or her refer the other to the travel company so one of you can get the referral bonus then you can split that too. Hope this helps.
