  1. i'm just wondering, if local license is not a requirement then why require for a retake of june 2006 passers if they pass the NCLEX exam anyway. If they pass the NCLEX, doesn't that prove that these 2006 passers also are competent in terms of knowledge just like everybody elase who passed the NCLEX.
  2. I agree. This is exactly my thought. I'll be going in a vicious cycle if I take this june exam of 3 and 5 and then ANA demanded for a total retake. However, I decided to prepare for NCLEX first and hopefully pass it and then retake the whole local board by december. Hope I pass it again the second time around.
  3. hi. I suppose you have received your license from new Mexico. I would just like to ask, how long is the validity of your license. I heard, that license issued in new mexico is valid only for threee months. Is it true?
  4. I don't know their website but I can give you their contact no. 781-6063
  5. This news is really depressing. However, it seems we have no choice but to retake the exam. Or not take it and be stuck in a situation that we won't be given visascreening. So to get it over with, I think it would be better if i retake the exam again this june rather than find out later that I have to retake it when I have finished everything else. Well that's just my opinion.
  6. Thank you again for the prompt response. It seems I really have no choice but to go straight ahead with my new Jersey application. I had this doubts because I really don't know how to go about applying in New Jersey. I hope someone out there can guide me on how to go about it step by step. I have already downloaded the application for CEs. Again, many thanks
  7. Thank you for your reply. I agree that if I apply In New Jersey even if I passed NCLEX of other state, they will still require CES. However, I was thinking, at least I'm finished with the exam which I'm planning to take in August together with my friends. I'm planning to take it in August in Hongkong so that I have a companion , otherwise I will have to take the exam in Hongkong all by myself. This is the reason why I am in a hurry to take it this August. Do you think it is unwise that I take the California Board/New Mexico or not? Again, thank you for your reply.
  8. Hello. I was advised by ms Suzanne to apply directly to New Jersey since that is the state that I eventuially want to work. But I'm also open to work in other state. However, others(friends) advised me to take the California board or New Mexico instead since it will take a longer time to process my application for New Jersey since they are still requiring the CES before I apply for NCLEX in New Jersey. As much as possible, I want to get it over and done with with my NCLEX exam. What do you think? Is it ok if I apply for California state board since I already have the application card and fingerprint card for California or take New Mexico? Is it more beneficial if I apply in New Mexico since it belongs to compact state or it doesn't matter if I apply on any state? Please advise......
  9. Once again,Thank you very much for the information. Your answer clears all my apprehension in getting NCLEX. Thanks again
  10. There's a question in NCLEX application regarding "if the applicant has hearing impairments". I don't know if I should answer it with a yes or no because my case is, I have allergic rhinitis and it had affected my hearing a little. Before, I felt like there's a plug in my ears so I went to the doctor for a chek-up. They gave me medicine and it improved but then according to them my hearing now is no longer 100% but only 90%. Do you think I should answer "yes" in the portion where it is asked, "If I have impaired hearing or "no"
  11. thank you very much for the info. You see I'm in a dilemna right now of what state to apply in the US. whether California or New Jersey. I don't have relatives in California. Since all my relatives are in New Jersey, I'm really considering New jersey. Although my friends say that it is easier to apply in California. They tell me it is harder to apply in New Jersey and costly because of the CES. thanks again for answering
  12. hello, I just graduated and passed our local board here in the Philippines. I'm planning to work in New Jersey and I'm wondering if New Jersey still requires us to pass CGFNS or only NCLEX. Would you know what are the other requirements. Thank you very much
  13. hello. I just graduated and passed our licensure exam here in the Philippines. I'm interested to work in New Jersey. I was wondering whether New Jersey still requires CGFNS before they can be considered or NCLEX will suffice?
