I do believe it would be much easier to get a job if you're applying for Med/Surg. I'm sad to hear about the specialty areas though, because I'm interested in the perinatal department and feel that I should really go for the dept. I want first. Again...

Congrats on the upcoming graduation and a job all ready for you! I wonder if that is true that it's easier to get a job a few months later because less people are applying. It probably depends on where you are though.
