  1. It is 100% online.
  2. I believe you have the option of 2 or 3 semesters.
  3. I was told mid to end of September.
  4. My transcripts were updated farely quickly, less than two weeks time. The electronicly sent ones did update within a matter of days. I didn't turn in any letter of recommendations; I didn't see that they were required? Did you?
  5. Yes hopefully we are both future Red Raiders!!! We won't know anything until March or April!! Are you going to opt for the sixth month route?
  6. I have applied to this program as well for fall 2015 start. My GPA was not that great however I have been a nurse for some time. I hope that carries some weight.

Laundry gets done at the wee hours of the morning. That's why in my current apartment search, a washer/dryer in unit is an absolute must! I refuse to go walking out at 2am to any laundry facility.
  8. Thank you! That's why I posted mine. I stalked allnurses frequently reading posts where people have passed! Very encouraging and motivating!
  9. Thank you and good luck to you!
  10. Yes I had a ton of SATA questions. Initially I started to keep count until I was like forget about it.
  11. Well you did it and congratulations are an order!! That Nclex has a way sending one on an emotional roller coaster. Congrats again RN!!!
  12. Thank you!! I'm so glad it's over!!
  13. So I took the NCLEX RN 7/9/14 at 8am. I was super nervous the say before. I was even considering that maybe I was not as prepared. Having my exam cut off was utterly frightening and a relief all in one! As I walked to my car, I logged on to pearson vue to attempt the trick. I got the good pop up. Thank goodness!!! I just want to take time out to encourage those who are preparing for the boards to practice, think, stay focused and calm and you will pass!! Good luck to those who have yet to test and congratulations those who already passed!! This a awesome field we've chosen!!!
  14. Which person were you?
  15. Very briefly. They didn't mention where to get the patch unless I missed it.
  16. They told us the uniform consists of white tops and teal bottoms. If you go to Scrubs store near the campus they have them.
  17. I got Conroe Regional as a clinical site this first semester. My clin instructor expressed that she's big on pt care. So I'm looking forward to this semester.
  18. Where are some of the places you do clinicals at?
  19. Thx for sharing Steph. You're in the ADN program?
  20. Doesn't the program start in June why put in your resignation so early? Also did you get your results from your titers?
  21. You're right. I should start practicing that as well. Do any of you plan to remain working during the program? Since its three days I think I'm going keep my 3 12hr shifts at work initially and then play it by ear.
  22. Just spoke with a coworker who did the paramedic transition program and he said 3 days as well.
  23. I like the sound of that.
  24. The prices on the website seemed cheaper. Bummer! But at least you got them done. I suspect I will be going there too for my varicella titer. I think they may take my insurance since they are memorial Hermann affiliated but I could be wrong. They're not necessary so we'll see. I've just set my mind on being on campus 5 days a week. I was trying to find something about that on previous posts but no luck. Looking forward to getting as much info as possible at Thursday's orientation.
  25. There are places like any lab test now and and you can try RediClinic inside HEB and CVS. I think the highest titer may run about $60. Try your employer as well. I got the Tdap vaccine at my job for free. I didn't have a comprehensive shot record. I called my high school for the records and they referred me to a City of Houston clinic that had immunization dates. So try those methods as well.
