Cup Feeding Strikes Again!
Nipple confusion does exist. I tried to breast feed my baby in the hospital and he wouldn't eat. The nurses kept bothering me and making me nervous and asking if he had breastfed yet. It was really making me angry because they were feeding him formula behind my back and so he was never hungry. Because of this it took me about a week and a half to get breastfeesing my son fully established.

Cup Feeding Strikes Again!
I don't know what the deal with cup feeding is. I've never heard of it. When I had my son and I was having trouble breastfeeding him my breastfeeding consultant gave me syringe to feed him with. I pumped everyday and gave two to three syringes every two hours till he started breastfeeding well. I don't know why the people in your nursery wouldn't have thought of something as simple as that. Circ on a 2yr old?
By the way, why would you mention cutting off ears? Circumcision isn't the cutting off of the member.

Circ on a 2yr old?
I think people make too much of a big deal over this issue. It's not like they are cutting the baby up. It' the cutting of a little bit of skin. It makes them sore for a few days. It heals up really fast. My son was circumcised. He's fine and he's easier to keep clean so he won't get a bad infection. The only issue I really have is that they don't wait eight days. I'm a Christian. The Bible says eight days. The hospital did it the next day.

Just enrolled in Baptist Health's LPN program
Hello , My name is Sharly and I have just recently enrolled the Spring class of LPN's for 2007. I was wondering if there is anyone else that works for Baptist Health or is currently enrolled in the school who could tell me a little bit about it? It seems like a good school and everyone there seems nice ; However there have been different people telling me it is one of the toughest schools. I've been told that they are strict. I've been told that UAMS is better. I've also been told that I won't get paid as much if I go to school at Baptist instead of UALR or UAMS. My mother said some girl told her that she heard that Baptist isn't as good because you get a diploma and not a degree. I told my mother that I thought the girl sort of didn't understand how it works. If I'm not mistaken the whole degree thing does not matter in my case because I'm going to be an LPN. LPN's don't get degrees. Am I correct? Also , if I'm not mistaken, wether you get a diploma at Baptist for 2 yrs, or an associate's at UALR , you're still an RN. Anyway , I'd be really grateful if there is someone here that could tell me a little bit about Baptist. I'm really nervous but excited at the same time. Sharly:uhoh21:

Circ on a 2yr old?
I look at circumcision as a way to help keep a little boys parts clean. Little boys usually aren't so thorough when it comes to cleaning things. Sharly
