States requiring BSN for licensure?
What state(s) require a bsn for licensure? I know that Montana did up until 2003 when it was overturned. Other speculated states: NJ and NM 1. If someone could please tell me the states that currently require a bsn to be licensed that would be great. 2. What states have a requirement such as "have to obtain bsn by _____. Thanks.

Is Wisconsin Oskosh the only place for Acc BSN online?
Thanks bunny. My bad though I forgot to post that I do not have an RN. I have a b.a. in business admin and the nursing pre reqs and am looking to get my bsn or a direct entry msn online. I emailed U of Wisconsin Oshkosh and they said they are not the only program in the nation with this degree plan but the lady who knows the other schools was gone.. just trying to get other schools from the board.

Is Wisconsin Oskosh the only place for Acc BSN online?
Is Wisconsin Oskosh the only place for Accelerated BSN online? Someone please post other options. My main issues with them is that they require gen and bio chem (which I would like to take from a post bac pre med program). They do not allow you to transfer/take classes with labs online or at a distance. Lastly the program is $29,500 which I am also not opposed to but kind of high imo.

What Should I do? any advice? I'm so upset:(
First and most important you need to determine why you performed poorly in the classes you took. If you don't already know, learn how you comprehend material and where your weaknesses are so you can correct them. If you have substantial credits towards a ba/bs 90+ I would continue. You might want to lower your course load in the beginning to get yourself on the right track and gain your confidence back. direct entry NP schools
Do you know of any direct entry programs partially or entirely online? I would like to stay in IA but my research has concluded there are currently no offerings for the direct entry msn in the state. Overall are most NPs satisfied? I am hesitant to enter a profession where I will be constantly looked down upon. Do most feel this is the overall consensus among MD/DOs or just particular ones?

direct entry NP schools
Is there a comprehensive list or good websites that list schools that offer direct entry NP programs. Also, are there direct entry np online programs? A simple yes or no on the second question would be fine because otherwise it will turn into a 25 page debate on whether online ed. suffices. Great website!
