Hi, I finished my second semester of nursing and decided to take the cna exam. I had to call the TN Dept. of Health/CNA Certification Department. The woman I spoke with advised me to fill out a challenge application and send my transcript with it. She reviewed my transcript and sent me a letter telling me when I can challenge the CNA test. The cost is $88.00 and I will take it next month. Hope this helps.

hi, I am a nursing student at columbia state community college and will be entering nursing 3 with one of these instructors. I am terrified of this semester because a lot of students have failed with these instructors. I do hope something is done about the instructors. I will continue to keep up with what's going on and will try to post any information that I find.

It's okay, I don't mean to sound so abrupt, but I am just speaking about the instructors, this program can be done, and I encourage you to pursue nursing because the reward will outweigh all of the drama once you finish. if i can answer any questions, please feel free to ask. thanks

Nursing isn't for whimps, you are correct, and I am not a whimp and neither is over 50% of the people who failed in the class. I was speaking on how the instructors are. No credible profession is for whimps.

Hello, I am currently enrolled at the Franklin campus and believe me, I would not recommend this school to anyone. The turnover is very high with instructors and with the Director of the nursing program. One just resigned. In the 3rd semester, a lot of students fail and there are some issues and/or lawsuits concerning this. The teachers are not friendly and do not appear to enjoy teaching, but appears to love to humiliate and intimidate students. If you are going to go to this school, just know before hand, that you are in for a very long and rigorous time. I am not trying to sound negative, but am telling you beforehand. I didn't do my research and know firsthand how horrible this program is.
