  1. To me it's not a question, at work I am responsible for people's lives, & I do my level best to care for them. What I do in my rare time off is my business. If a nurse is stupid enough to work impaired he or she deserves the max for punishment, like it or not we reflect on each other.....
  2. This has been a fun read! I guess I'm lucky, I was already with my last husband when I went back to school. He was & is very supportive, so are my kids, his daughter too for that matter. I was awfully proud of myself when I graduated, but he threw me a party, had my diploma framed, & put an ad in the paper. Too sweet. But then he told my dad he was gonna retire earoy & let me support him for a change, too funny, he still works 24/7.
  3. I agree & disagree with so many of you! A nurse HAS to be able to peform her or his job, hopefully without missing anything. It is our JOB to care for people unable to care for themselves. We get paid to do this, therefore we should do our level best to perform at our best right? & if it's your day off I don't care what you do. Unless you're on call...LOL
