  1. I am a phase I student at TCU. I applied to TWU, TCU, Georgetown, and Villanova. I was accepted to TCU and Villanova, and chose TCU because I live in the area. I am very pleased with the way TCU has treated me so far. I have friends in other programs and they are not having the same experience as I am. First of all, the interview at TCU is not that bad. The other posts are true, TCU doess not ask clinical questions during the interview (at least they didn't last year). The interview is more like a job interview. They want to get to know you, and are trying to find people who are seriously interested in anesthesia. A word of advise: Research current topics/events in the anesthesia world, and ask questions about them during the interview. The faculty are truely interested in helping their students succeed and will help you in any way they can. I know the office staff really helped the people out who were relocating to FW from out of town. Again, I would highly recommend TCU to any of you. It really is a great program. If you have any questions pm me or shoot me an email. Hope this helps.
  2. KsMICT- I had a little over 1 year of experience before I applied and interviewed. I applied to 4 schools and got into 2. I truely believe that the interview is the most important part of the process. Most of the people who apply have similar backgrounds. The thing that sets you as an individual apart from the rest is the interview. I studied for and took my CCRN certification exam only a month before my interviews so that the info would be fresh on my mind. I really think this helped me with the interview questions. Good luck.
  3. The application deadline was Nov. 1 for early consideration and Dec. 1 for all others.
  4. Applied to: Georgetown-No interview offered Villanova-Interview pending TWU-Interviewed and Accepted TCU-Interviewed and Accepted Deciding between TWU and TCU.
  5. I received my acceptance letter in the mail yesterday (1/23). I have heard of one other nurse who got her acceptance letter last Saturday. Good luck.
  6. FYI. The 2008 class is not full. I called and talked with the coordinator. She said the '07 class filled in Oct. There are 6 people approved for '08 and they're all on the waiting list to get in the '07 class.
  7. I just received an interview offer from Villanova and was wondering if anyone has gone through their interview process yet. Any advice?
