    Cerner and Meditech are crappy systems...expecially for the ER. We use a product called ECDS Empower and it is awesome. Intuitive and easy to use!

    Good Luck! You are going to be building that system for years - what a cost to your hospital. We are using ECDS Empower Systems and it rocks. Easy to use, fast implementaion. You should check it out.

    I have found the the Build-Your-Own systems are for the birds. There is a BOB called ECDS Empower out of Chicago that has an excellent product...and the best thing is, we went live in 45 days!
