Maybe to late... The physical should be nothing but what you should have been getting @ your MD during your annual check up. VS, BP, History, perineal check, Mobility and balance check, weight, height etc...Nothing New. After that you should go get your blood drawn for full panel, and go to a lab to have your urine check. All should take you about a day or most of it. Good thing about all they will give you all your result if/when requested and if hired you could get a free annual check up/blood draw for free. The HR should get back to you within couple days offering you the job upon result of your physical. If all cultures are negatives, you should be fine, and moving toward the next step. Good luck! The best nurse that I ever had, have been nurse forever, FOREVER. They taught me how to do stuff, showed me and explained the ABC, explained to me why I should or should not do something and take their time to make sure I comprehended it. Later when I messed they were the first to "calmy" and firmy yelled at me for not following their advice. Was I scare! I missed my old body. Take it for what it is...life is just too short. Ciao!

It is one medication error but you would have to write 5 different incidents errors. In doubt it really depends on the facility protocols and above all the pharmacy. It also depends on where you work LTC or Hospital. In doubt ask your boss. Good luck

I just finished the va medication test and it was interesting. I am a LPN-3years and will hopefully working for the va if anything goes well I was supposed to get 60 questions, but I got 70 for 80 minutes. 1-I got a lot of calculations question, pretty easy but one or two a little confusing>maybe 15-20 questions 2-I got about 20 rx sides effects, use, pre and post administration. 3-I got a few Rx nurse management 4-I got the usual insulin questions, drops 5-I got also the usual pt monitoring example r/t to c/o of fever, abd pain, hematuria 6-I got some question about labs, creatine, K, Na, PT, Inr, All together this test was not easy but you will need to review the booklet that they sent you because some of the Rx given during the test were never have been seen by me.
