Filipino Nurses that have worked abroad and settled back in Philippines!
life in the us is very hard. credit/mortgage/loan everywhere. you can live a good life in the us if you dont have credit, i mean you cant get those nice home, spanking lincoln navigator by cash. so all your life you will be paying for your mortgage, lets say 30yrs. after 30 yrs sell your property and retire in the phil. us nurses are full of credit and loans by the way. life is not easy as nurse in the us.

To Filipino Nurses in NEW ZEALAND? Have questions please..
We were catered by a consultancy firm in Cebu City. Yes you need at least 6 mos clinical experience and still working while your application is still on the process. We paid everything, see my posting on this thread. We also paid the agency for the processing. It took us 11 mos to get here. *NZ's policy is getting difficult yearly so better check for the changes often. Hope that helps.

I agree, in order to be considered for the CAP here, you need at least 6 mos clinical experience and still working while processing for your Enrollment here. THere are a lot of schools here for competency. You can check the Nursing council website. To give you a rough idea how much the schooling would cost around 200kPHP - School. 150K- allowance. 50-70K round trip ticket depends on the season. So max 500K php. Depende din minsan kung magkano ang hinihingi ng mga agency dyan sa pinas. Hope this helps.

Golden Summit in Cebu
Yes they provide nurses for retirement homes in NZ. Actually my wife is shouldering the payment for her schooling there. The good thing about this is she can choose which hospital to work after passing the local board in NZ. Was anyone here catered by Golden Summit before?
