  4. hi, i have questions for you guys. if i finished BSN here in the Philippines (by the way, i'm a second courser and based on thier assessment i have 3-1/2 years to finished the course) and wants to work in Toronto or Ontario, what exams should i take? Based on my research all BSN who wants to work in canada should take CRNE (Canadian Registered Nurse Exam). Is this the only exam they requires? Is NCLEX-RN one of their requirements?
  5. jmsl replied to noworries's topic in Canada
hi im new here and i'm from Philippines. I just would like to ask, if you are newly grad of BSN from the Phil and want to settle and work in Toronto, Canada, what are the requirements before you can be a registered nurse in canada? Do I have to take courses before I take canadian registered nurse board exmination? How abt NCLEX-RN, do I have to pass this exam before CRNBE? Looking forward for your reply. Thank you
  6. just follow your heart. if you really want to be a nurse and have this passion to take care of people then go go go. when i was a little i really want to be a nurse. but my mom told me that better to take up engg since most of my tito's are all engrs and they are all doing well. we all know that nursing is not an easy course as well as engg too. but thinking what we have surpassed during our engg days (those probationary and kick out time, reports and designs and thesis) i believe we can do the same here. so, goodluck to the two of us.
  7. may i ask how many years are you going to take BSN at Lanting. Haven't inquired yet on that school. all schools that i've inquired based on their evaluation, 3 more years to finish the course. btw, i finished BSME (BS MEch Engg)
  8. hi random_thought, i'm a second courser and looking for a good school too. a lot of top schools here in manila are not accepting 2nd courser .they prefer fresh high school graduate. i also do research and interview a 2nd courser too and even visits schools for evaluation and to know how many years to finish BSN. Manila Central University accepts 2nd courser, below 28 years old and if you're not graduate of allied course, you can finish the course 3-1/2 years. Perpetual Help College-Manila - accepts 2nd courser Manila Doctors College - accepts given that you are 26 year old below. the exposure is very good and NLE passing rate is high. Concordia College (Pedro Gil) - accepts 2nd courser but if your are going to study this sem they are not offering health care 1 unless that 10 students will enroll on this subject and that's the time they will open it. better visit the school for evalutation. NLE passing rate is high. (HIgh compare to schools that are offering 2nd courser) And a lot more... Better visit this site so that you can choose what school you want to enroll. http://newsinfo.inq7.net/examresults/20060718_nursing07182006.pdf Let me know what school you prefer. Good luck. :wink2:
  9. hi, i'm just new here and planning to take BSN as a second courser. mukhang madami akong matututunan dito. i will take your advice 'never be in a hurry' kaya kahit 3-1/2 years, i will pursue this course.:wink2:
