  1. I am wanting to travel to Australia to work and I am not sure where to begin. I know I need a hospital to sponsor my work visa--I heard that somewhere--but does anyone have any recommendations or a company to get me started. I want to go in August or September next year......thanks! Rhonda:balloons:

That happened to me with All About Staffing, who pretty much has a chokehold on travel nursing with HCA hospitals. They were rude too, and then tried to recruit me themselves for my next assignment--AS IF!!!!! My recruiter broke her tail to find me something, but I was left in limbo for 2 weeks!!

I, too, am a travel nurse and LOVE what I am doing! I just started this year and I can tell you--so far, so good! It is hard to say what is a great company and what isn't, so my advice is to look at the comparisons and choose what works for you. Do you need 1st day insurance, do you need travel assistance, do you need license assistance, best pay or best location!? I found a website that actually gives the top ten and compares the top 25--I think it is called Highway Hypodermics. Try a Google search.
  4. Yes, this rumor was true. I was contacted for one of these jobs, BUT it was to cover a planned California strike......Sanity prevailed and the strike was averted......NURSE BEWARE!!! You will earn every penny of that money, taking this assignment!!!!!! Up to 12 patients to care for, less than desirable support.:uhoh21:
