  1. i paid thru my credit card, you can use other person's card as long as you have permission. You can also pay thru checks. Please see the application form of NMB
  2. You're online! Im actually confused right now on what should i choose between the RN and EN assess course. Money matters u know. Im still waiting for other advices from aussie nurses in this forum, it might help. Only Overseas nurses with at least 2 yrs exp may challenge the course. The advantage is that it will shorten your duration for the course. I read that somewhere from the booklet I think. Also log to http://www.nursing.edu.au/OQN/ , there is more info there
  3. Any more advice from aussie nurses? thanks a mucho!:trout:
  4. I dont have an agency, I applied directly to NMB. Sad to say that there are no agency willing to cover for the assessment fees at this time. But a friend of mine said that 5 years ago there are some agencies in Oz used to shoulder it when assessment fees were 2500AUD for RN's. im not sure, its old news anyway. I belong to batch 2005 and less than a year exp. Why dont go to www.nmb.nsw.gov.au and click how to register. then download info booklet. its a big help:trout:
  5. It's 7000AUD for RN assessment course and 4600AUD for EN course. I submitted mine this year. It took 2-3 months to process.:welcome:
  6. hello wxyz! The Nursing board of NSW will give you the referral letter after you have submitted all of the requirements. I was initially registered but in order for them to give you the RN certifcate, you have to undergo their 7 week assessment or bridging course as commonly called. The RN assess course costs around 7000AUd while the EN is 4500Aud. It's a big amount though if you convert it to pesos. Hope this helps. Send me a message if you have any concerns, maybe I can help
  7. hello dar15! Yes, our curriculum is patterned after the US. Well I think I have to think many times over before I decide to do the EN. Thank you so much for the advice!
  8. Good day to all! Could anybody advise me on what to do. The Nursing board of NSW gave me a referral letter recently for Bridging program for Overseas Registered nurses. Due to some financial constraints, I am thinking of taking up the Bridging program for Enrolled nurses instead. Is this wise? I read from the NMB update last April that overseas RN can take up the EN assessment course. Any advise is grealy appreciated!
