hello guys question, we have a patient from Dubai came to america to get some medical help, no insurance no social security. just got discharge yesterday 8 day stay in subacute unit. my question is do i have to do MDS to this patient? theres a section that ask for SS# and it won't complete unless i put something on it. In subacute if our patient is paying by private insurance example cigna, blue cross. I still have to do a 14day complete assestment, but if their self pay i'm lost. please help if you know the answer.

I work in subacute unit @ chicago, all our patient are in and out of our unit. so basically all i do is 5 day and 14 day complete assestment. so according to manual during admission orders that day is not counted when you code how many new orders in mds? is it correct?.

Hey guys only been an MDS for 2 weeks I'm really having trouble writing raps especially the cognitive raps. How would you write a raps for a patient that triggered short term and long term memory problem, moderately impaired in B4(cognitive skills for daily decision making) and C4 coded 2 sometimes understood. CVA patient. any example would be great thank you. salamat!

i took it on 7/10 i had 8 select all guess on all of it and 15 meds, pass with 75 question.

know your drugs guys i had 15 drugs and my other friend got 18....some of them you will not know, but some of the other drugs are basic that you should know, i was going to list some drugs here but i could be in trouble....so if you have time just do drugs Q&A like sauders has 500 drugs question, then find another book with drugs. 2007 nclex has a lot of drugs now, scary. i pass by the way and my friend.

Kaplan trainer Cd (7 test), read the kaplan book twice 2. used the priority delegation and assignment from mosby 3. used saunders Q&A through out school year did not really used it to prepare for nclex i already answered most of it during school year. priority book link http://www.us.elsevierhealth.com/product.jsp?isbn=9780323044073 sa akin i think nakatulong yong kaplan trainer cd, and priority book..also took martin review i think it was a waste of money for me, i only took it because most of my friends are taking it, they covered nursing content which i think i know enough since i just recently graduated. mercy hospital in chicago and mounth sinai nag pe petition sila. also, mga nursing home in chicago mas marami nag pe petition you could try that.

hi mocha!!! i took the Martin Review in chicago last month..it goes over Content review if you need help in that area. I was okey in that area because i just graduated i needed more help in Prioritization/delegation question. o. yep took it in chicago downtown! graduated may 19,2007..review about 1 month took the nclex july 10. I don't think its hard to get a scheduled in downtown just keep checking everyday for open spot. Nakuwa ko lang yong Kaplan cd trainer sa kaibigan ko install nya sa laptop ko. But i also took this Martin review class in chicago, i don't think it help, if i can do it all over again i would register for KAPLAN Q bank online. mas maganda pa yata. Kaplan nakatulong sa nclex. good luck sa exam this coming january.

just pass my nclex last week. definitely KAPLAN for priority question and saunders for content review... KAPLAN was closer to nclex question, get the kaplan trainer cd from a friend or kaplan Q bank if you can afford it 300bucks i think online.

hey bunker congratulations! just wondering did you pay for license verification check? or you used license look up is that the same guys? just wondering i pass on july 10 illinois RN, and i'm still waiting for the mail for application for the license, check license look up not in there yet.

hello, just pass the nclex rn in july 10, i'm just wondering if anyone know how long it takes to get your license #. i check in illinois license look up, my name its not in there yet. Do i need to call someone in illinois or pay something for the license certificate, or just wait for the mail. can anyone help me what's step i need to do? any website i need to go too or phone number in illinois i need to get contact too. any input would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

make sure you finish test 5,6,7 i think that's what help me passed the nclex. found out yesterday i pass, scored 65%,65%,67% on kaplan trainer test 5,6,7...i don't think it matters what you get on those exam as long as you get used to how their asking those question. my nclex exam was just like kaplan question the way they ask their priority questions. don't reschedule you can't really prepare for that exam, whatever you learn now before the exam should be okey.

i borrowed this nclex-rn book by by Margaret M. Dahlhauser,Margaret Dahlhauser it has great delegation assignement LPN, CNA, RN what they can and can't do. just go to boarders or barnes & noble...it's only couple of chapter on delegation,priority, ob to med-surg, peds to ob or med-surg. great stuff. found out yesterday i passed the nclex rn.

took hesi on the last semester scored 965 1st try. then took NCLEX on tuesday july 10, found out today i pass with 75 question. all you can do to study for the hesi is do Q&A question, i think that's the only way to study for that exam same way to study for the nclex.
