  1. Hello just wanted to tell u what i know about intelistaf. dont know much about your area but i recenty relocated to minnesota from southern wisconsin and am having problems getting and keeping work with mmy current agency so i decided to contact intelistaf and get signed on with them as well. when i talked to my recruiter she was very helpful even with general agency questions. everyone that i have ever known to work for intelistaf has absolutely raved about it saying that it has been the best agency that they have ever worked for. i am hoping to say the same. good luck to you on your new adventures and hope this helps!!
  2. Got my ideas from agency that came to the hospital that i was working at before going agency. currently i work for PRN and also Intelistaff. i know PRN is in about 5 states in the midwest but i think Intelistaff is mostly nationwide. Good luck
  3. Well stated! Just ask. One thing I learned quick as an agency nurse is you have to ask and cannot be afraid to ask anything for the exact purpose that you dont know their policies and procedures, location of supplies, residents and their specific routines etc. Remember what they always said in school...the only stupid quesiton is the one not asked and if you dont ask you will never know! Good luck!!
  4. With my experiences so far the staff at facilities have been very accepting (for the most part anyway). Though I do have to say from experiences with some agency nurses before I started to work as one there were some nurses that did some pretty scary things and asked some scary questions and for me only having been out of school for almost 2 years now hearing those questions and seeing those actions really made me question the type of nurse that works for an agency. I have made it my vow to never be one of those nurses!!!
