  1. The sad thing about all of this is that we do hire teachers that have not passed their exit exam and they still get the pay of the teachers who have passed. When all are doing the exact same job I believe that the pay should reflect that. Alos you need to take in the experince we have lost 2 LVN this year because of pay and they don't wont to hire any RN's here because of what they pay them. So... looks like they are stuck and if you love your job you are going to have to take a second job just to make ends meet. That is what I am doing!!!
  2. i was under the impression that all school nurses recieved a $2000 pay raise this year. only to find out that two of our school nurse's did not get one. the school said that it is because they are lvn's. well our school system has 6 nurses and 2 are bach. nurses 2 have their adn and 2 are lvns. they all do the same job no one is over any one else but one of the lvn's has been there for 12 years, longer than anyone else. i just don't believe that this is fair. and wanted to know how everyone else felt about it.
  3. in east texas you can be a lpn. i've done it for 14 years now. i love it!

    I have a friend who is vitamin B12 deficient and she eats toothpicks Vicls and aspirin. Very strange we all worry about her.
