  1. Thanks to all for the help you posted about EC. I will research this more indepth before I make a decision.
  2. I have been an LPN now for 3 months and I want to start on my RN. I have talked with a rep. from The College Network and they work with Excelsior to help you obtain your Associates degree RN. I want to hear from someone who is or has attempted to do this online and see if it is good as it sounds. Also any suggestions as to another way to get it online through someone else would be very helpful.
  3. I just graduated in December 2007 and passed Nclex. I have had multiple offers for good paying jobs. It's nice to be able to pick and choose where I want to work and not have to settle for the first thing that comes along. Anyone that hasn't been to LPN school doesn't know how hard it is and surely can't appreciate the immense feeling of accomplishment one has with a nursing license in hand. If being an LPN is what you want then go for it. It's a very respectable, professional position.
  4. Hi! I'm Ronnie from Ms. I just passed my Nclex with 85 ?'s and I will be working in Nephrology as a LPN at my local hospital. I will be working from 7pm-7am. I'm excited and nervous at the same time but looking forward to it. Wish me luck!
  5. I am a new graduate LPN and I am not sure which job to take. I was offered a job at an area nursing home that has an excellent reputation, has retained its staff for a long time and pays great. I was also offered a job at the local hospital with good pay and excellent benefits too. my problem is I'm not sure which one to take as both would be good jobs. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Finally, after 6 days of painful waiting I have found out that I passed the Nclex. What a relief.:w00t::w00t::w00t:
  7. If after 48 hours you do not find a license # on your State Board of Nursing website
  8. Good luck to you too. I hope I find out tomorrow.
  9. I took the Nclex on 1/17/08 and was told it would be 2 business days to get results. If thats true it would mean I would get results on 1/22/08 as Monday is a holiday. I am so anxious to find out. My exam shut off at 85. I hope that is a good thing.
