  1. Hi! A friend of mine subscribed to this website http://www.nclexsuccess.weebly.com and she passed. According to her it is so informative for just $14.99 (one-time fee). Unlike other review sites, it focuses on areas most likely to be tested. Plus it is constantly updated! In choosing the review material for the NCLEX, it actually boils down to the one that will make you comfortable and confident when the big day comes. I believe that we spent thousands of dollars already to finish nursing school...let's be practical! We don't need to spend the same to prepare for the NCLEX. You can consider using Suzanne's plan which is FREE! Well this is just my personal opinion.
  2. Thanks Ms. Suzanne! We are all praying for her...hopefully she makes it this time. You're a big help to all of us.
  3. Hi guys! I have a friend who is scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN this May for the 4th time. She's planning to take the NCLEX-PN if in case she will not pass NCLEX-RN again. Her question is...how to become eligible to take the NCLEX-PN? Does she need to do all the whole process again just like what she did before she was made eligible for NCLEX-RN exam (fingerprinting, request of transcript from the Philippines, etc.)? She will be taking the CA Boards. She studied BSN in the Philippines but she's a legal resident here in CA. Any info. will be highly appreciated. Thanks guys!
  4. Good luck and always pray with CONFIDENCE! Trust in the Lord!
  5. Thanks guys for all the encouraging words I'm getting from you. I'm a registered nurse from the Philippines and took the exam here in California. They say that if I have a SS # I can check it online. But since I don't have one yet, they say that I have to wait for the result to come to me through "snail" mail, which will take about 2 weeks after I took it. Plus I think CA Board is not included in the QUICK RESULT...which means longer agony for me. Yira, I really hope that the next time I will spell out my name, I'll have the RN abbreviation already! Thanks for your all your support!
  6. Hi guys! Took the exam yesterday. I don't really want to talk about it because I want to get over it...just for awhile. The agony of waiting for the results begins! :uhoh21: The computer stopped at 200 items with only 15 minutes left...I don't know what that means. I had health teachings (mostly discharge instructions), prioritization, delegation and medications. Anyone who experienced the same # of items with only few minutes left? Did u pass or fail? I trust the Lord. I will accept whatever the result is with my whole heart. I know he will give it to me at the right time. Anyways, congratulations to all who recently passed. Good luck to all those will take the exam. Take care and God bless! I'll keep you posted...Thanks for all your prayers, advice, and moral support.
  7. to all of us who will take the nclex exam, i would like to offer this prayer: novena of confidence o lord jesus christ, to your most sacred heart, i confide this intention... only look upon me, then do what your heart inspires. let your sacred heart decide. i count on you. i throw myself on your mercy. lord jesus, you will not fail me. sacred heart of jesus i trust in you. sacred heart of jesus, i believe in your love for me. sacred heart of jesus, i have asked for so many favors, but i earnestly implore this one. take it. place it in your sacred heart. when the eternal father sees it, covered with your precious blood. he will not refuse it. it will no longer be my prayer but yours. oh jesus, o sacred heart of jesus, i place my trust in you. let me never be confounded. amen. good luck to all of us! my big day will be tomorrow, march 21, 2007. thanks for all your prayers!
  8. Thanks cmp715! I'll keep you all in mind guys! If others can do it...it only means, I can do it too! Good luck to all of us!
  9. Congratulations! Tomorrow is my BIG DAY! I just hope that the next time I log in here...I will be proud to say also that finally, I'm an RN also! Cheers to you. Good luck to all of us!
  10. I'm scheduled to take the exam also this Wednesday. I have a full time job and didn't have enough time to review contents and do practice tests. As of 6:00pm...I stopped looking into my text books and notes because they make me feel more anxious! I know there's nothing more I can do right now. If you back out, you will only prolong the agony. Whatever your religion is...PRAY, PRAY, PRAY! Don't worry...I'll pray for you. Please pray for me, too! Good luck!
  11. Wow! Thanks Yira and Chacha17 for your words of encouragement. I'll keep you posted. I know that "scared to death feeling"...because I'm feeling it right now!
  12. Thanks Yira! It has been my habit to drink coffee every morning. And most of my classmates told me that they ate chocolates while taking the exam (during breaks of course) in order to increase concentration. How true is this? Good luck to you too!
  13. Hi fellow nurses! I am scheduled to take the exam this Wednesday (March 21, 2007). I'm starting to feel anxious and "blank"! Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks! :smackingf
  14. Thanks for your immediate replies! I'm currently using Saunders Comprehensive Review, Saunders On-line Review and Saunders Strategies for Success. I have other review materials...I think I have spent hundreds $$$ already! I would like to know if you have specific topics you think I need to focus on. Thanks again! :thankya:
  15. Hi! This is my 3rd time to take the NCLEX-RN Exam here in California. I am scheduled on March 21, 2007. As the days go by, I feel more anxious. I feel that there are still a lot of things to read and learn. As much as possible I want to concentrate on the usual topics asked in the exam since I don't have much time anymore. Any advice will be highly appreciated!
