I recieved my degree through Deaconess and I felt like the instructors were very knowledgeable and caring. My problem was on the administration level. I think most everyone in my class would agree. Most are un-friendly on the business level and I always dreaded dealing with anyone on the 1st floor, but you really don't have to deal with them very much. The instructors would go up and above what they needed to do to help you. I think the problem is the Online programs and I don't think it is fair to blame the college for this. People sometimes aren't as motivated with online education and I feel that is why the program isn't working out. Some people just want to do it the easy way and we all know nursing school isn't easy! Edited to say: I don't want to give the impression that all online students do not apply themselves. Just some may not..

Hello there. I have been lurking for a little bit and decided to get in here and get registered. I am from Franklin County and live near Six Flags. I was an LPN x 10 years and graduated from Deaconess College of Nursing and just passed boards last Saturday. My goal is to specialize in labor and delivery and womens health.. Hi everone!
