Sure thing! The main thing is to do a little everyday, slack off a couple of days before the test, then do nothing the day before. Oh, and stay confident in yourself!!! Doing the hurst review and practice q's is a good way to study! Good luck once again and stay focused on your goal!

I attended the live review...it is the same as what is online. This was my second time taking nclex-rn. I attended the class, spent a few days reviewing the book to refresh, then I did questions on cd's. Hurst doesn't really think you should spend time answering q's b/c they think you should know the content, but if you only do their book and their q's...that's not enough. I did manage to pass last Tuesday, but my test didn't really apply to that review! You have to get the content down, but you need to practice sitting in front of the computer and getting in that frame of mind. I highly suggest reading over your Hurst material and knowing it, do their q's they provide esp. prioritization, triage, and maternity prioritization. Then, get out a good cd the week before the test and do the areas you are weak in, but mostly do med-surg, management, prioritization, alternate formate, and pharmacology. That's what I did. There is no way you can learn every drug, but by practicing those types of q's will help. So, once you have that content down, move on and do some practice q's. Don't get all upset if you don't score well on the q's. esp. the ones made by Hurst. You will do fine. Stay positive and good luck. You can do it.

well...i attended the hurst review, did the kaplan strategy book, and saunders comprehensive review cd. this time i spent more time on the computer answering q's b/c you really need to practice before you do the real thing. oh yeah, my school got me a free one month subscription to medspub.com. i believe that helped me the most!! (those questions were GOOD) i really didn't do much for the first test and that's why i failed! as far as my scores...i ranged anywhere from 60% to 85%, but that doesn't mean a thing!!! i also stayed positive while i was doing all the studying...i wrote out a plan for each week and out beside each day..i wrote my goal..."i will succeed!!!" i wasn't going to let a test beat me!!!!

I passed ya'll!!! I guess the whole deal about failing at 75 is pretty bad, but hey...I took it again 45 days later and passed with 75!!! The numbers don't mean anything!!!! I still can't believe it!!!

i took mine tues. it sounds like our tests were very similar! i am still waiting on my results!! ugh! i am trying to occupy my time, but it just doesn't work!! i am praying for us!

you still haven't found out your results? wow...this is very scary. being pregnant, studying, and going through all of this worrying...is so not fun! congrats on your pregnancy..and yes, the baby is more important..we have our degree and we WILL get our license soon!!! its just a matter of when!!!

well, we don't have quick results, but after 48 hours you can check licensure status on the bon website. all of my friends..except a few were able to check it the next business day at midnight. i am trying to have hope, but i got my hopes up last time. i called the bon and they said it hadn't been mailed as of this morning and that it would be up tomorrow on the website. (if i passed) so, i just have to keep waiting. i know i need to get it out of the way while its fresh on my mind, but i don't know how else to prepare. i did several thousands of questions and did a review course. so, i'm not sure what else to do.

I am 30 wks. pregnant...took boards end of june and failed...took it tuesday morning for the second time...got 75 q's with priority, room assignments, select all, and a ton of teaching. i just don't have much hope since i failed the first time. my state doesn't have quick results, but you can look for your lic. # on the bon website and of course mine still isn't on there. i just don't know if i can wait another 45 days and take it again...i will be 37 or 38 wks pregnant then. i haven't been able to enjoy one minute of my pregnancy bc of all the studying. i guess i should make arrangements to take it again. i don't know if i should take it right when i could possibly go into labor or just chill out and take it after the baby arrives. i need help. i don't know what to do. i made good grades in school...all of my friends have already passed. i feel awful AGAIN! has this happened to anyone else?:uhoh21:

thanks to everyone for all the uplifting comments...its just really hard. i am sure everyone of you know this already...esp. if you failed your first try. i think this has to be one of the worst times of my life. i'm really not counting on a passing result...seeing as how i got my hopes up the last time....i am so miserable! i'm glad i have others to talk to that have some of the same problems i have!!

i know for sure of 3 select all that apply. it could have been 4. i just feel so awful since the last go around. i just want this to be over with. i am so sick of studying...i just want to move on with my career!! have any of you heard of anyone failing with 75 and passing it later on?

ok..i failed the nclex-rn in june with 75 questions...yeah, i must be really dumb...anyways, i just took the exam again this morning..i felt better about this time, but not when my computer shut off at 75 AGAIN! i just don't know what to do...besides wait it out. has anyone ever heard of this? could a miracle possibly happen for me? yeah, i got plenty of priority, delegation, teaching, and select all that apply, but does it really mean anything????? :angryfire
