    That is not true about the GPA's. I have lower than a 2.8 and passed my boards (LVN) and am in the 3rd semester ADN Program. One of the previous posts commented that sometimes book smart 4.0 GPA doesn't make a good nurse. Think about this: someone who doesn't have a high GPA but has empathy as compared to a 4.0 who is only in this position for the money.:)
