  1. Thanks so much. But how can we know how many posts i've done already? Thanks for the patience.
  2. :nurse:Hey, Can anyone help me clarify as to what MS.suzanne actually mean the need to post 15 posts max to be able to pm her? Coz i plan to take my Nclex this December. I need to know the right way to send a pm to her. I understand i need at least two months prep in order to use Suzanne's plan. But i didn't quite get how to make 15posts to pm her and where can we pm her? I have an idea but quite not sure if i get it right. PLease, can anyone teach me?:nurse:Thank you:p
  3. Thank You. I just read the region and the student tabs for my request of advice. God speed!
  4. Hey there! it's been nearly a year since i've logged in here. I remember that was the time of the controversial 2006 leakage issue. Now that it has been buried into oblivion, i'm back again on track as one of your members. I just find this website very useful for a nurse like me who needs the direction and updates on the profession. Certainly, i need some insights regarding on my case; As i am working as a nurse with its shifting schedule and demanding nature of the job itself, and yet i'm to take two exams for this year. Frankly speaking, i am having little progress when it comes to determination and discipline to review NCLEX. I am even planning to take IELTS first before Nclex so that i can apply for other UK countries aside from US. As we all know, US is on retrogression or at least that's what i know, just lately, i heard that it's being lifted. Is this true? Going back,I always attribute my lack of motivation to my working status as a root cause as to why i don't have enough focus to the review. Probably it makes sense, but i have a feeling that this is just an excuse to PROCRASTINATE.. If it's not too much to ask, would you be kind enough to share some of your thoughts as to how i can make this work through within this year. Some sort of words of encouragement perhaps or steps for studying NCLEX effectively, considering with my time left as a staff nurse, will do.:nuke: Thank You and God Bless to us ALL:yeah:
  5. :idea:shrix00, well i'm kinda in that disposition of what you're in lately especially that i just passed the recent controversial board exam. I have been like this for 4 months like i'm an "empty-headed walkathon". i'm supposed to read saunders but to no avail i have only read few pages. well, i'm still on a process of working this on myself considering that i'm kinda OC and perfectionist myself but i suggest you take a very good break and it's about time you cling on yourself and please yourself first and not mind others coz if you will continue to do just like what i have been doing... you will either likely fail or you may not fail but still bring this feeling over and over in different circumstances and you will realize that you actually have stagnated personally while others do not care at all. Take a break. By best wishes to you and happy holidays!

  7. :trout: Am planning to take the NCLEX exam next year of April. The thing here is i have not been reading effectively. I did try to begin the first few chapters of Saunder's the latest edition, but it seems it's not progressing to improvement. And to include, I'm working a 5hr job in the morning in which when i go home, i really wish i won't have to work. By the way it's a psychology thing and not a nursing job.I have accepted this, due to the smear campaign brought by that controversial JUne 2006 NLE, and that i decided to take off from nursing for awhile.. Now that i have my license, PRAISE GOD!, i'm pursuing my nursing goals then. However,it's kinda like i'm wishing i won't have to work so that i can go study straight in the morning.. As a person i'm more motivated to hit my books early in the morning and doze off around 7pm. This is just how it is with me and so if you have something you can suggest some effective strategies that i could begin to work on myself...it will really be a blessing.
  8. Thank you for all your replies. I really appreciate it. I hope i could get more replies though.
  9. Hey my fellow colleagues!!! Please help me with this issue of mine. Especially to PINOY RN's over there, would you please share your experiences or your advices as to which is really better or yet the best option coz I'm in real dillema right now as to whether to work my two year contract in a hospital before taking specifically NCLEX and IELTS or to study them all first and take them within a year time before working? You see I wanna know how true it is that there are some states abroad that don't need experience as long as you're an NCLEX-RN passer. Plus i also heard some stories that they took the exams first without working and yet they were hired in some states without experience here in our country and were also trained even in special areas like the OR... I need you help puhleez? Muchisimas Gracias!!!
