VI is a greta place! I was there several years ago and it is heavenly! I wasn't working so can't tell you much about that side of it. If you go you have to visit St. John - it is the most beautiful place I've been. I would check out the hospitals carefully as it is an island, similar to the Bahamas.

My opinion is that if they aren't upfront with you about their pay then they are not reputable! If they don't give you a straight answer then they are hiding something ... and they are hiding it from you so don't sign it if it is confusing! Tread lightly my friend!

Don't know about HRN. Does anyone know about Trustaff or Fastaff? Fastaff's website seems to promise alot but then it seems they might be hiding that they don't pay overtime until after 60 hours and I've heard that their quoted pay doesn't include housing or insurance. Their website seems to "suck you in" and then you get the real story - this is what I have heard??? Anyone know??? Anyone heard of Trustaff???? - How do I find out who pays the most and what benefits without going through the hassle of talking with recruiters?

I don't know about FL??? I am trying to find out about Birmingham, Alabama. Has anyone worked there? If so can you give me the scoop on the hospitals and an idea of what is a fair rate for travel? Graduating soon and want to travel, maybe.

Has anyone ever worked as a travel nurse in Birmingham, Alabama? I am wondering if $23 hour is a good rate? What benefits should I expect? Can anyone tell me if they have worked Birmingham before and what rates and benefits are. $23 doesn't sound so great when some California hospitals I've heard pay $50. Is this true or am I misinformed???

Don't know about RN Demand??? I'm thinking of travel when I graduate. Can anyone tell me about travel pay, benefit and housing in Birmingham, Alabama? I am from there and have family there so want to go back. Does anybody know about UAB, St. Vincent's or Medical Center East and what they pay travel nurses? I have heard California pays exceptionally well.

Do hospitals pay a different rate for BSN as opposed to ADN for travelling nurses? Does anyone know the difference in pay for travel?
