  1. Good Luck. Let us know if you're successful.
  2. Thanks Jaded_Nurse and everyone else for their input. This is very helpful. Still deciding... UOP is more expensive but I think I can get done faster.
  3. I talked to one of those counselors on the phone. She said you can only take one class at a time, you can not double up like UOP. Yes, every class is 8 weeks long. Walden is cheaper than UOP but it takes 3 years to complete because you can't double up on classes. Any one with more insight or information on Walden, please respond! I am also trying to make a decision on an online school. Thank you .
  4. Any Walden RN-MSN folks out there? Please comment!! I am also trying to decide between the two. I talked to Walden counselor today. Sounds like Walden is slightly cheaper at $350 per unit. Their classes are 8 weeks long (Phoenix is 6 weeks long) and it takes about 3 years to complete (no doubling up on classes the way you do at Phoenix). You must take one after another. The MSN program is 2 years old (per the counselor).
  5. I have my RN (associate degree only) and a BS in a non-nursing field. So... I am looking for a school that offers RN-MSN online for those in my situation (non-nursing BS already). The only school I know of is U of Phoenix. You have to take 3 bridge classes to get into their MSN. Are there any other online schools out there I should look at before jumping into U of Phoenix?? U of Phoenix is on the expensive side for me. Thanks!
  6. Isn't doubling classes hard when the classes are only 6 weeks? I plan to start UOP MSN in March or April timeframe and I plan to work full time. How many hours do I need to invest each week if I am "doubling" my classes? My goal is to finish in a year. Are y'all sure I can do it? Thank you everyone for any answers and perspectives y'all can provide. PS - haven't totally made up my mind yet but I think I am going to do the MSN - Integrated healthcare one.
