  1. If you want to follow the nursing track, instead of going for your MD you might want to consider becoming a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant.
  2. Bloomington May '07 hopefull.. anyone else from Bloomington campus? I've taking A&P 1&2 both in one semester (8 week hybrid classes), and this is about how I feel right now...
  3. i'm in the same boat that you are. i heard from a friend that the rn program that i am applying to had 150? applicants for 30 positions last year. even though i have a good g.p.a, i'm not going to take any chances. i plan on applying to the lpn program as well. i would hate to have to wait an entire year to reapply again. i stressed out about this for almost a month until i realized that there are several lpn to bsn programs in my area. i plan on furthuring my education anyway.... so the lpn program might even work out to be an advantage for me.
  4. I have been carrying 6-9 credits of pre-reqs while working 50 hours a week. I am able to maintain A's while not getting to stressed out. I attempted taking 12 credits one semester while working fulltime & ended up dropping two classes because I just didn't have enough time to meet deadlines and felt that I did not have enough time to prepare for tests.
