    They say if you can work at Shands you can work anywhere. The facility is down town and has everything from gun shots to births.There are RN openings at every facility in town, very few LPN as far as hospitals go. There are many great areas to move to but there are also many bad areas. Let me know the areas you are looking at and I'll let you know.
  2. I am fresh out of school, and am about to start my first Nursing job. I have talked to others and they all feel as if they learned on the job, more than in school. I was feeling so unprepared(still am) but they all assured me that you learn as you go. I believe as you go out in the work field you will be surprised at the stuff you remember. I have a 16 year old daughter and we just started saying I am strong! I am powerful! I can do it! We laugh at ourselves but it really helps. I wish you the best.
