  1. YES!!!! I took my final ATI yesterday....the comprehensive one, and passed!!! We had to get above a 62, i got a 78. Im so glad thats all over, now just looking ahead to my boards. Good luck every one, the trick to the ati's are not to read to much into the questions.
  2. I Started Beta Tech in richmond, VA on June 23, 2006, a week after my high school graduation. And in January 2007 i also started taking my rn pre-reqs at the local community college. And next week is finally my last week of lpn school, i dragged a 16 month program 7 additional months, but i am completly done with all my prereqs, and i have been accepted into Virginia commonwealth University, my classes start march of 09, and its only 2 years!!!!!
  3. Im a nursing student here in richmond, va; i work at a major hospital here, and my hospital has a facebook page, and they send me messages about open shifts, and meetings and things like that, its really cool, just wanted to know if other places do the same kind of things?:typing
  4. I really didnt kno so many people, really had to pass the ATI in order to move on to the next semester.....or even graduate from the program....its total BS.....Even tho i have never failed one, there are a couple people in my class that have built up ATI's that they havent passed.....its really worrying me:uhoh21:
  5. Has anyone had recent experience with ATI testing?...:banghead:We are required to pass them here in VA. On the 25th (the last day of class) I have to pass an ATI exit exam, so if i pass, i graduate on October 1st, if i dont.........Then im back in class monday, for another 5 weeks!!!!!!! I hate em!!!
  6. Ati's suck, we are required to pass them here in VA. On the 25th (the last day of class) I have to pass an ATI exit exam, so if i pass, i graduate on October 1st, if i dont.........Then im back in class monday, for another 5 weeks!!!!!!! I hate em!!!
  7. Not quite a graduate yet.....September 25th, I will be walking across the stage....Then off to RN school in Jan....Man I love being a nurse!!!!!
  8. yay, i passed mines and i start my first cna job on the 4/23/07. But im only half done, in 6 more months i will be an lpn.
  9. Not to sound mean or anything, but being an MA sucks!!! I have had so many friends of mine go thru a 15 month MA program, and get out and cant find a job. Or come out and find a job that pays no more than 10 an hour, thats here in richmond, va. They could have took a simple, 5 month CNA course for half the price, and easily made 16 an hour. I think that program is a rip off, the school i go to for LPN, offer MA for the same price, and the same length.
  10. Well, i am not what you would call the "AVERAGE" LPN student. First of all, I am black; Second, I am a male;Third, I just turned 19 on march 17th; and Fourth, I dont know why most people think male nurses are gay, but im not. Today i feel like im really getting somewhere in the medical feild, i got my results back from my CNA, which i have been beatin myself up about all week, I just kept thinking about all of the mistakes that i thought i made, but I passed it, and im so happy. I will have my LPN by DEC. and i have plans of being a NP before im 26. Horay for me!!!!!!!!!!!!:smiley_aa
