  1. Job Well Done Colleen!!!! Best Of Luck To You! Colleen What Time Did You Take Your Test On 8/2? I Took Mine At 2:30 And Finished About 4:00 And Pearson Still Says Test Reults Not Available At This Time. This Has Been The Worst 48 Hours And I Can't Take It Anymore! My Computer Shut Off At 75 Questions Which Means I Done Horrible Or I Was Doing Great. Rgn1 Did You Take Yours On 8/2?
  2. I took the NCLEX this afternoon and totally don't feel like I passed. I had 75 questions and all were who you would assess first or discharge first. I had a ton of meds and 7 mark all that apply. I didn't feel as though it was anything that I had studied. I did Saunders and the NCLEX QT and felt prepared however.....not so sure! Now the wait in on and I'm a wreck!
  3. Hi...I am taking the NCLEX-RN on 8/2 also. I have read the Saunders and keep doing questions from Lippencott's and Mosby's. I am starting on the Kaplan Question Trainer tomorrow. I feel the same way...I've studied and feel I know the content however I just am worried because I don't know what to expect. I graduated in June and took a month off and have been studying since the beginning of July. Just ready to get it over with and get on with my life. I think the best thing is to not let your nerves get in the way which can alter your judgement. Go in there confident and say...I will pass this test! Best of luck to you!

  6. Yes... please let me know if the Prioritization book helps prepare for the NCLEX.
  7. I ordered a 2006 NCLEX simulator CD off of ebay that states something about Kaplan review. It weights the questions similar to the NCLEX and is supposed to help prepare for the exam. Does this disk sound familiar to anyone?
  8. I have the 3rd edition of Saunders so I'm not really sure if the 2nd edition is any different. If that is what you have then I would cover that one along with the CD that goes with it. I have been doing more practice problems out of the prioritization, delegation assignment book and I am now beginning to feel more comfortable with who would you assess first and delegation questions. This was an area that I felt uncomfortable with and am now having confidence when doing the practice problems. The book is a short read...and I have found it to help me tremendously!
  9. I have read Saunder's and totally believe that will help me. I combined this guide since the focus was on management of care. I have heard quite a few people swear by Saunder's. Congratulations for passing boards!!
  10. Hi everyone, Just graduated in June and will be taking the NCLEX soon. Several of my friends took a review course and the instructor suggested this book and I have found it to be a wonderful study guide. It has many of questions as to who you will assess first, what task will you delegate to the LPN or UAP. The book also provides rationales at the end. Could be a great help since I see the test is alot of prioritization and management of care. I found the book at Barnes & Noble. Here is the information... MOSBY Prioritization, Delegation Assignment (Title) ISBN#0323044077 Linda A. LaCharity Copyright 2006
