I am also starting Med/Surg...Bumping for replies!

Hi I'm winding down my first semester in nursing school, I have piled up a whole bunch of debt from family. Does anyone know of any jobs, perferably nurse related that I can apply to!? PLease Help...NYC or Long IsLand!:typing

I disagree, I am currently at the college of New Rochelle, and I am impressed with their orgainzation skills. Yes I had a a brief experience with one of the hardest professors in the program, buut I believe people are hard on you because they expect alot from you. I am not in the accelerated program, I am an IT, but it seems like we always take on a negative attitude. As far as Administration with tuition and stuff, yes they are a little disorganized but i think it is the influx of new students, this school is extremly small and they are dealing with more and more students every semester, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and expect them to clear everything.

I'm in and I start in September..i'm soo darn nervous. Sheesh.

Hi, I am taking A & P 2 for the summer/evenings- and I work fulltime in the day, I leave my text book in the car because I cannot study openly at my desk...any online resources to follow the chapter we are doing such as Respiratory System!? Please send websites!! Thanks!!

Ok Guys Update!! I did not get into Beth Israel...I was close..but no cigar! But I think I did get into another school..which was my first choice because its a BSN program... college of new rochelle sounds very promising to me, currently I am taking a pre-req ( a&p2), so they said they are deferring my acceptance until I finish those classes..but until then I still have an interview..so wish me luck!!! Update...Still haven't received any word from PBISN... So I called...AGAIN...TODAY... and Mrs. Gallo, the secretary said that they were making a decision on the last 25 folders they have!!!!!! AND I AM ONE OF THEM!!! Talk about nervous...They will be deciding on the waiting list...WISH MY LUCK AND PRAY FOR ME!!! WHATEVER YOU DO BEST!!!!:imbar Thanks Vix.

Is the mail that darn slow?! they keep increasing postage prices and we can't get mail yet!!!! I am starting to make myself physically sick.

I haven't heard anything, I sent my application in for April 1st and I took the Nursing exam around April 15th...The secretary called and said she needed my highschool transcript, I sent that in..but I haven't heard since. I guess I wasn't accepted if I haven't heard anything yet....Well we will see.
